Festival Gezmataz 2023

In the summer of 2023, the Gezmataz Festival&Workshop, a well-established event in the area that reaches its 20th edition this year, returns to Genoa.
The goal of the Festival, led since its founding by Marco Tindiglia, is to combine jazz education with quality concert programming, spreading it as widely as possible in Genoa and Liguria.
he theme of this year's concert programming will be "contaminations": it is inspired by the city of Genoa, a port city that welcomes and mixes cultures, bringing together the qualities of tradition and the insights offered by innovation. This
has in fact always been the main feature of the Gezmataz Festival, which throughout its history has placed side by side authoritative names from the international jazz scene with young and emerging artists.
